A healthy, beautiful smile is not just about aesthetics—it's about functionality and quality of life. At Lakeview Dental, nestled next to the Green Valley Ranch town center park, we understand the profound impact dental health can have: we’ve seen time and again that our patients have discovered increased confidence or that they can eat great food again. Others have said that their life is filled with more joy because they are openly smiling and laughing more than they ever did before. We love the power of full mouth reconstruction to improve your health and your happiness.
Why Choose Lakeview Dental for Your Dental Rehabilitation?
Most dentists do 1-2 full mouth rehabilitations in a year, or maybe even in a career! Our dentists perform 1-2 full mouth rehabilitations in a month! Our dentists are sought out for their skills in this area. In her 20+ year career, Dr. Le has performed thousands of these very involved cases. Because of this experience, our doctors are not intimidated by complex cases and are sought out by many patients for a high level of care and expertise. Learn more about our dedicated team here.
Besides the level of experience, we have advanced technology like TSCANS that allows us to measure and calculate how your restored teeth will bite together and make adjustments to be accurate within fractions of millimeters.
We work with one of the best aesthetic labs in the country. You can select a very white shade without worrying that your teeth will look fake. Their unique process incorporates 5x the amount of shading from a typical 2-3-tone crown for a very natural and authentic look.
Our goal is to have you hear, “You look stunning!” instead of “Wow, you got your teeth done!”
Who Needs Full Mouth Reconstruction?
Many patients who grind and clench have worn down most of their teeth by middle age. Other patients have struggled to keep their teeth healthy and find it increasingly difficult to maintain their mouths. A variety of people benefit from rehabilitation, and ultimately if people feel that their teeth just aren’t lasting or staying healthy, they may consider rehabilitation options to give their teeth a new life before they start losing teeth and the ability to eat.
Many patients identify that they need significant dental treatment right after retirement. A fixed income can make it hard to make the best choices for their health. We strongly recommend that patients review their options while they are still working so they can have the additional benefits of employer insurance coverage and/or an income to budget with.
Dr. Le, one of our very own doctors, has received full mouth reconstruction and loves knowing that her teeth will last her a lifetime with full function and a dazzling smile.
Full mouth reconstruction is also recommended for patients experiencing severe dental issues that affect their ability to chew, speak, or live comfortably. If you're suffering from extensive dental damage, our restorative dentistry services, including full mouth rehabilitation, might be the answer you've been seeking.
The Process of Full Mouth Reconstruction
Embarking on a journey to a new smile begins with a consultation. After performing a comprehensive exam, our doctors will invite you back for a complimentary 1 on 1 visit with them where they can show you images of your mouth and jaw that you’ve never seen before.
They will explain the dynamics of joints, hinges, pressures, and anatomy and what adaptations your specific case needs in order to return to the ideal. You will be shown, not just told, in a way you can understand so that you can be empowered to make the best decisions for you. You will be given plenty of opportunities to ask all your questions, and you will make a plan together to help you keep your teeth for a lifetime.
Suppose you want to move forward with any recommended treatment but are worried about the finances. In that case, our patient coordinators will consult with you about our options for fitting needed treatment into your budget, including interest-free financing for up to 18 months through Alphaeon. Our goal is to not only restore your smile but to ensure the process is comfortable and tailored to your individual needs. Schedule your consultation here.
Following a consultation, you will schedule the following appointments:
- Diagnostics: We will take measurements, impressions, scans, and pictures of your mouth to create an ideal model to work with.
- Preparation: This is a longer appointment in which the doctors will prepare your mouth and place temporary crowns. At the end of this day, you will leave with a dazzling smile!
- Shade Selection: A few days after you get your new smile and you are no longer numb, we will have you back in to make adjustments to the temporary crowns and decide on a shade for your final crowns.
- Seating: In this appointment, the doctors will place your final crowns and cement them in place. At this point, you will have the full-functioning smile that you have been dreaming of!
- Review: We’d like to know how your experience was during your FMR, so we’ll invite you back for a quick, non-dental visit to ask for feedback on your experience. If you are comfortable with it, we will record this visit to share with other patients considering full mouth rehabilitation.
